FAQ
Plant Doctor questions
How does Plant Doctor work?
Upload a photo of your plant, describe the problem and share your contact details. A member of the Flarora team reviews it and replies with practical advice or a recommendation for a visit or replacement.
Is this an automated diagnosis?
No. Plant Doctor requests are reviewed by people. Recommendations are based on experience and the information you provide, and are not a scientifically validated diagnosis.
Is Plant Doctor only for Flarora clients?
Anyone in Dubai or Abu Dhabi can send a request.
Why are my indoor plant's leaves turning yellow?
The most common cause in UAE homes is overwatering — soil that stays wet starves the roots of air. Low light, cold air-conditioning drafts and old leaves dying back naturally are other causes. Check the soil before watering and send us a photo if it keeps happening.
Which indoor plants are low maintenance in the UAE?
ZZ plants, snake plants, pothos and peace lilies cope well with air-conditioning and indirect light, and tolerate the occasional missed watering. Peace lilies need a little more water than the others.
How do I keep my plants alive through the UAE summer?
Move balcony plants out of direct afternoon sun, water early in the morning, and use drip irrigation or self-watering planters outdoors. Indoors, keep plants away from AC vents and water less than you think — most indoor plants die from too much water, not too little.
